Port Hires New Marketing/Communications Manager

Bremerton (WA) – The Port of Bremerton is proud to announce the hiring of Chris Case as our new Marketing and Communications Manager. Chris will be leaving her post as the Director of Communications for the North Kitsap School District to accept her new post with the Port of Bremerton.

“I am thrilled to be able to hire Chris for our position. She is extremely qualified and is well respected in our community. She will be an outstanding member of the Team at the Port of Bremerton. Her past work as the assistant creative director with the world famous advertising firm of J. Walter Thompson in Chicago will be of great support in marketing our marinas, our industrial park and our airport” said Cary Bozeman, CEO, Port of Bremerton.

Other positions that Chris Case has held include being the Editor of the North Kitsap Herald, the Communications Director for the Seattle School District under former superintendent John Stanford and she was an account supervisor with the advertising firm of Backer & Spielvogel, in Chicago. She has a B.S. in Journalism from the University of Wyoming and a BA in Radio and Television, also from the University of Wyoming.

Chris has won numerous national and state awards for her marketing, advertising, and public relations work. She will begin her new position with the Port around March 1^st.
