BREMERTON, Wash . – The Pacific Northwest International Trade Alliance (PNITA) presents its 2008 Fall International Trade Program titled "Exploring Opportunities in International Trade - The Costco Experience" with keynote speaker Jim Murphy, International Costco Wholesale.

            Mr. Murphy is Senior Vice-President for International Operations and is a member of Costco’s Executive Committee. Mr. Murphy directs the activities and expansion of Costco’s operations outside of North America. He is also responsible for the U.S. based Global Buying and Export Groups.

            Mr. Murphy will present a look at Costco Wholesale’s organization, generic trade concerns, and international business aspects of the when and why along with what U.S. products are appealing to overseas markets.
